“The Iconic Portrait Strand by Nestor Topchy” Exhibition Reception

Enjoy refreshments and music while exploring the extraordinary presentation of more than one hundred portraits depicting Houston-based artist Nestor Topchy’s (b. 1963) friends and colleagues in the art community. The paintings in the exhibition, The Iconic Portrait Strand by Nestor Topchy, resemble Byzantine icons, and are created with traditional materials including red clay, gold leaf, powdered marble, pure pigments, and egg yolk on small wooden panels.
