Member Noontime Talk: Suzan Frecon Drawings

Suzan Frecon’s watercolors have rich material characteristics that can only be appreciated in person. Her selection of papers and use of materials will be explored in this program as we view the complete holdings of Suzan Frecon watercolors in the Janie C. Lee Drawing Room at the Menil Drawing Institute.

Join paper conservator Jan Burandt, Mellon Fellow in paper conservation Abby Schleicher and Conservation Studio Technician (and artist) Dominic Clay as they share their observations about the drawings. The special lighting conditions of the Drawing Room will make this an unforgettable experience.

Held twice a month on Fridays for a small group, Member Noontime Talks make exhibitions more intimate and reveal the collection like never before. To sign up, please RSVP to membership@menil.org. If you are not currently a Menil Member, you can learn more and join here.
