DACAMERA and the Menil Collection present an outdoor jazz performance by pianist Jose-Miguel Yamal and his quartet: John Calderon, guitar and vocals; Tim Ruiz, bass; Mark Simmons, drums.

José-Miguel Yamal has collaborated with jazz greats and salsa singers. His eclectic sound — which draws from jazz, Afro-Cuban jazz, neo soul, funk and more — is deeply influenced by Houston’s cultural diversity.

The concert will take place on the front lawn of the Menil Collection at 1533 Sul Ross Street, between Mandell and Mulberry Streets. Visitors are invited to bring picnics and blankets to enjoy on the grass; seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
