Paper Conservator Jan Burandt and Conservation Studio Technician, and artist, Dominic Clay invite you to take a close look at a classic drawing medium in the Drawing Study Room at the Menil Drawing Institute. Surrounded by drawings from the collection, we will observe charcoal in its various forms. Differences in working properties and appearance will be explored.
