On Drawing: Trends in Contemporary Drawing

In conjunction with the recent publication, Vitamin D3: Today’s Best in Contemporary Drawing (Phaidon, 2021), please join the Menil for a program exploring key themes in contemporary drawing practice.

Edouard Kopp, Chief Curator of the Menil Drawing Institute, will be in conversation with Louisa Elderton, editor of Vitamin D3, and Anna Lovatt, art historian and contributor to the publication. Their conversation will consider recent trends in contemporary drawing and offer an in-depth look at works recently acquired by the Menil Drawing Institute by artists including Rashid Johnson, Tony Lewis, and Zarina, all who are featured in Vitamin D3.

Attending the program:

This program takes place online. The live event will stream directly on this page and the Menil’s YouTube channel. Registration is not required.

Submit your questions for the speakers in advance and during the program to programs@menil.org.
