Artist Talk: Roni Horn in Conversation with Michelle White

Artist Talk: Roni Horn
Artist Roni Horn joins the Menil’s Senior Curator Michelle White for a live, online conversation about her work, Gold Field, on view in the Menil’s Modern and Contemporary galleries. On special loan from the artist, Gold Field is a thin mat of pure gold, about 1/100th of a millimeter thick, installed directly on the floor. Horn and White will discuss how the work relates to the artist’s overall practice, and its connection to her understanding of the landscape tradition, as set forth in Horn’s recently published anthology writings, Island Zombie, which is available for purchase at the Menil Collection Bookstore.
