Gray Foy: Drawings 1941–1975 Book Signing

Join us at the Menil Bookstore for a Gray Foy: Drawings 1941–1975 book signing with essayist Lynn M. Herbert and designer and editor Don Quaintance. This book is the first major monograph on the midcentury American artist and features a foreword by Steve Martin and is available for purchase in the bookstore.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Members always receive a discount at the Menil Bookstore.

Lynn M. Herbert, essayist, is the former chief curator at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston; the author of numerous art catalogues and—as a horticulturist and organic gardener—A Garden Book for Houston and the Texas Gulf Coast.

Don Quaintance, Houston-based graphic designer and editor, has designed over 150 books and exhibition catalogues for museums such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the Menil Collection.
