American artist Joe Overstreet (b. 1933) led an itinerant life and created “nomadic art” that could be quickly rolled up for travel. Join Curatorial Assistant Haley Berkman Karren to learn more about Overstreet’s non-traditional approach to painting, his colorful tethered canvases, and their connection to other works currently on view in the contemporary galleries.
