Join Director of Facilities Steve McConathy and Facilities Engineer Wesley Haines for a tour of the new Menil Energy House. Designed by architects Johnston Marklee, and located west of the Menil Drawing Institute, the Energy House plays a vital role in the expansion of the southern Menil campus both functionally and urbanistically.
The state-of-the-art facility replaced the former 25 year old central plant building and provides more energy efficient power, cooling, and heating capabilities for the main building, the Cy Twombly Gallery, and the Menil Drawing Institute.
