Members Noontime Talk on Text as Catalyst: Artists’ Books inspired by Literature

Please join Librarian Lauren Gottlieb-Miller for a discussion of artists’ books from the Menil Library’s Special Collection in which artists engage with works of literature to produce beautiful and unique books. Books discussed include works by Pablo Picasso, Édouard Manet, Max Ernst, Jim Dine, and Wols, among others. Following remarks, members will be able to spend time looking through the books on display in our reading room.

Please note that space is limited and RSVPs are required.

Held every Friday for a small group, Member Noontime Talks make exhibitions more intimate and reveal the collection as never before. To sign up, please RSVP to membership@menil.org. If you are not currently a Menil Member, you can learn more and join here.
