Member Noontime Talk on Drawings in Depth

Examine the unseen depth of drawings with Jan Burandt, conservator of works of art on paper. Drawings are three-dimensional objects. Although rarely mentioned, the depth of paper (or drawing substrate) is an influential factor in determining the physical character of a work. Don’t miss this special opportunity to tour the Menil’s conservation lab and examine the micromorphology of drawing media and structure of papers.

To respect the lab environment, participation is limited to 15 members and RSVP is required to attend this talk. Please RSVP to membership@menil.org.

Held every Friday for a small group, Member Noontime Talks make exhibitions more intimate and reveal the collection as never before. If you are not currently a Menil Member, you can learn more and join here.
