The Menil Collection allows photography in its foyer and corridors. We seek to provide a quiet and contemplative environment for viewing works of art. Through the sharing of images, we hope to expand our dedication to personal encounters and to an open dialogue about art and ideas.
We encourage you to take photographs for personal use in our foyer, corridors, and outdoor spaces. We ask that you refrain from photography within the galleries. Please do not use a flash or tripod (or similar equipment) as these can damage the artwork and disturb other visitors.
