The appearance of a drawing is deeply dependent on the paper beneath. Paper displays profound diversity of character resulting from the variances of fiber, formation, texture, thickness and many other attributes. Meet paper conservator Jan Burandt in the Janie C. Lee Drawing Room at the Menil Drawing Institute to look at drawings and consider the influence of paper.
